Welcome to All About U, California's premier online apprenticeship program for aspiring barbers and cosmetologists. As a subsidiary of Gran Phinale Barbering & Cosmetology Apprenticeship Academy, our program is officially recognized by the California State Board, providing a trusted pathway to a rewarding career in the beauty industry.

Our program stands out for its efficiency and flexibility. With All About U, you can become a certified barber or cosmetologist in just 60 days. This accelerated timeframe means you can quickly gain the skills and certification needed to start your career.

You have the option to complete the program either online or in person, giving you the flexibility to choose the learning environment that works best for you. Additionally, students can participate in the program while still attending school and receive school credit for their apprenticeship hours. The minimum age requirement to enroll is 16 years old, providing opportunities for aspiring professionals to start their career journey early.

To begin the process, prospective apprentices must complete a pre-application, providing basic information and contact details. Upon receipt of the pre-application, we send the official application to ensure proper licensing from the state and initiate the enrollment process.

We understand that financial flexibility is important, which is why we offer a variety of payment methods beyond credit and debit cards. Apprentices can also opt for split payments through Shop Pay, making the program accessible to a wide range of students.

Program Breakdown

Step 1

Before enrolling in our program, an apprentice must find an approved facility to work in.

Step 2

Registration and payment of Pre-Apprentice fee are as follow, $2,499.00 paid upon enrollment. If a payment plan is needed, please contact the office at the above information.

Step 3

over the next 60 days, you will complete 39 hours of online training in these areas:
Laws and Regulations of the
Board
• Health and Safety
• Basic Patron Protection
• Sanitation and Disinfection
Procedures

Step 4

After successful completion of the Pre-Apprentice class, students will be provided with an Application for Licensure and a
Certificate of Completion of
Pre-Apprentice Training

Step 5

The Apprenticeship
Training Program is a two-year, combination online classroom
and on-the-job training program with All About U and Gran Phinal'e Apprenticeship
Academy.
